Terms & Conditions

Last updated 3 October 2026.

1. Registration & confirmation

Registration for NCDM 2026 is open to all eligible participants through the official registration page. By completing registration you agree to these Terms and Conditions and to the NCDM Privacy Policy.

  • Registration is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment or an acceptable employer's letter of guarantee.
  • Registration fees do not include accommodation.
  • The full fee is charged regardless of the length of attendance and cannot be pro-rated.
  • The organiser may cancel a registration if payment is not received before or on the date of the conference.

2. Payment

All fees are payable in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) and processed through a secure online payment gateway.

  • Malaysian participants: credit / debit card (Visa, Mastercard), online banking (FPX) and major e-wallets.
  • International participants: credit / debit card only (Visa, Mastercard).

Fees are to be paid free and clear of any deductions, withholdings, taxes or duties. Any taxes required by the laws of the participant's country of residence are the participant's responsibility. A receipt is issued by email upon successful payment.

3. Cancellation & refunds

  • A processing fee of RM 300 applies to written cancellation requests received within the early cancellation window (date to be confirmed).
  • No refund is issued for cancellations received after the late cancellation deadline.
  • Participants who do not attend the conference are not eligible for a refund.
  • A registration may be transferred to a colleague — please notify the secretariat in writing before the conference.
  • All cancellation and transfer requests must be made in writing to [email protected].

4. Abstract submissions

  • Abstracts must represent original work. Submission constitutes the authors' agreement that, if accepted, at least one author will register for and present at the conference.
  • The Scientific Committee's decision on acceptance, format and scheduling is final.
  • The organiser may publish accepted abstracts in the conference proceedings or a journal supplement.
  • Submitting an abstract does not confirm a presentation slot until formal notification is received.

5. Health, safety & conduct

All participants agree to comply with health and safety measures implemented by the organiser and the venue as required by law or regulation. Participants who do not comply with applicable rules may be refused entry or asked to leave the venue.

By participating, attendees release the organiser, Taylor's University and their respective officers from claims arising from communicable disease exposure or health-related incidents connected with attending the event.

6. Liability & disclaimer

  • The organiser may modify speakers, dates, programme content or venue, or cancel the conference, where circumstances beyond its control require it.
  • The organiser is not liable for damages, losses or expenses incurred by participants as a result of a modification, postponement or cancellation of the conference or any part of it.
  • The organiser may set admission policies to maintain the professional integrity and safety of the conference.
  • The organiser accepts no liability for loss of or damage to personal belongings at the venue.

7. Photography & media

NCDM 2026 may be photographed, filmed or live-streamed for educational and promotional purposes. By attending, participants consent to possibly appearing in such recordings. If you have concerns, please tell the secretariat in advance.
