01 — About

A national meeting on noncommunicable diseases.

NCDM 2026 is organised by NCD Malaysia and hosted by Taylor's University, 27–29 November 2026.

The Noncommunicable Diseases Malaysia (NCDM) Conference brings together healthcare, research, civil society, policy and industry to address the growing burden of noncommunicable diseases in Malaysia — and to strengthen collective action against them.

Over three days the conference provides a platform to exchange knowledge, foster cross-sectoral collaboration and explore the latest strategies in NCD prevention, early detection, integrated care and health system strengthening. The scientific programme spans cardiovascular and metabolic health, respiratory diseases, neurology and mental health, diseases of ageing, and skin and other NCDs, delivered through keynote plenaries, parallel tracks, forums and interactive discussion.

NCDM 2025, the first conference of its kind in Malaysia, was themed "Reducing NCD Burden: A National Priority." NCDM 2026 continues that work. See the NCDM 2025 archive.

The organiser

NCD Malaysia

NCD Malaysia is the Malaysian chapter of the global NCD Alliance — a civil society network of more than 300 member organisations across 81 countries, working to ensure people live healthy and productive lives free from the preventable suffering, stigma, disability and death caused by noncommunicable diseases.

Founded in 2018 by four organisations, each representing a different NCD — the National Cancer Society of Malaysia (NCSM), the National Heart Association of Malaysia (NHAM), the Alzheimer's Disease Foundation Malaysia (ADFM) and the Malaysian Green Lung Association — NCD Malaysia represents NCDs at national and international levels.
